Restore your system to the date which it was working fine using System restore feature in windows

What is System Restore?

System Restore helps you to go back to previous date to which you think you computer was working fine

like example if you feel that you computer was working fine few months back and now its not and you wish to go back to that date when your computer was working fine.

This can be solved , your wish will be granted by System restore

System Restore helps you restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. It's a way to undo system changes to your computer without affecting your personal files, such as e‑mail, documents, or photos.

Sometimes, the installation of a program or a driver can cause an unexpected change to your computer or cause Windows to behave unpredictably. Usually, uninstalling the program or driver corrects the problem. If uninstalling doesn't fix the problem, you can try restoring your computer's system to an earlier date when everything worked correctly.
System Restore uses a feature called system protection to regularly create and save restore points on your computer. These restore points contain information about registry settings and other system information that Windows uses. You can also create restore points manually
How to Restore your system to the date which it was working fine using System restore feature Below are the steps

  • Go to My computer

  • Click anywhere blank place on My computer and go to  its properties

  • Below Image is the property of your computer there click System protection

  • Click system restore

  • Computer will search restore points which will be created automatically by computer or can be created manually

  • People can create a restore point when you feel your computer is working perfectly fine or the time when you re install Operating system and install all the application (in the last how to create a system restore point will be shown)

  • This is the system restore welcome page just hit next in the rare event your computer may show for recommended restore points (dates) you have to go for the option use different restore point and hit next

  • Below is the automatically created restore point by windows

Computer automatically creates restore point in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 creates a scheduled restore point only if no other restore points have been created in the last 7 days.
System Restore Windows Vista creates a checkpoint every 24 hours if no other restore points were created that day.
System Restore in Windows XP creates a checkpoint every 24 hours of absolute time.

  • Select the Restore point to the date listed here i have only one to the date which i can go back to

  • After selecting the restore just hit next and finish

  • Now just sit back and relax it takes few minute to complete the task and your computer will restart

  • Until your computer Restarts and gives you login screen don't turn off or don't disturb the computer

  • After your computer starts you will get a message saying that system restore has been completed.

How to Create a System restore point manually

  • Click on configure

  • and turn on system protection

  • and give some storage space for storing the system file and setting for your computer 15 - 20 % and hit ok

  • like example new os installed and all basic apps installed or computer working perfectly today

  • Like i said give any name for the restore point below
