Color your CMD prompt


This post will show you how to color your black and white color prompt


This the Regular black and white cmd prompt






Now i am going to simple trick how to color your cmd prompt

Windows + R will give you Run prompt

Type CMD in Run Prompt


This wll give you black and white color prompt


after opening this white and black screen


Type color 1a in the black screen this command will change your CMD color




Now there is a combination of this cmd

as displayed in the image 0-9 and A-F

    0 = Black        8 = Gray

    1 = Blue          9 = Light Blue
    2 = Green        A = Light Green
    3 = Aqua         B = Light Aqua
    4 = Red           C = Light Red
    5 = Purple       D = Light Purple
    6 = Yellow      E = Light Yellow
    7 = White        F = Bright White

Ex: color 1E


Color is cmd and the combination of these numbers and alphabets


Or there is always a alternate way to do this


Right click on the C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd.exe heading like below


and goto its properties





Then goto its color tab like below and select the colors you desire for Screen text and Screen background and click ok the same way you can change the font in the cmd also in the font tab
